My IFA has says he needs my law firm’s panel reference for the Danske Bank conveyancing panel. Can you suggest how I find this out. I have called my local Danske Bank office but they cant find it on their system.
the sensible thing to do is ask for this information from your solicitor. A law firm is likely to keep a file or database of lender panel information which would include, if applicable their conveyancing panel details for Danske Bank.
Expecting to move into my new home next Thursday. My conveyancing lawyer has asked me to provide him with a copy of the building insurance for the house as he says that he has to check this in has capacity as lawyer for Danske Bank. What does the insurance need to cover?

I was supposed to complete on my dream home two days ago. My solicitor is on the Danske Bank solicitors panel but has changed address 8 weeks ago and had not advised Danske Bank of their new address. Danske Bank has locked down the release of mortgage funds until such time as their systems are up to date with the correct details.
This is a rare situation indeed. The majority of lender Terms of Conveyancing Panel Appointment specifically oblige the solicitor to inform the lender of an address change. Your solicitor needs to treat this with the utmost urgency. Do speak with or register your concern with the senior partner (assuming he or she is not your direct lawyer). Most lenders would be reasonable in this situation and expedite the resolution of this issue. It may be prudent to enlist the help of your local Danske Bank branch or your mortgage broker to see if they can help.
We are getting a further advance on our mortgage from Danske Bank as we wish to carry out alterations or improvements our home. Do we need to appoint a solicitor on the Danske Bank conveyancing panel to deal with the legals?
Danske Bank would not normally appoint a member of their approved list of lawyers to deal with such a matter. If they did require any legal work then you would need to ensure that such a lawyer was on the Danske Bank panel
Two weeks ago we had a mortgage agreed in principle with Danske Bank. Solicitors have been appointed? What is the average time that one could expect to receive a mortgage offer from Danske Bank?
Some lenders take longer than others. Have Danske Bank completed the valuation? Have you advised Danske Bank as your lawyers details and checked that your lawyer is on the Danske Bank conveyancing panel? It is not unusual for a mortgage offer to take a month to come through
On the whole I have been dissatisfied with the level or service received from my lawyer. Is there a Danske Bank conveyancing panel complaints department or do I complain directly to the law firm?
There is little point in complaining directly to Danske Bank. Every solicitor firm and conveyancer must have a complaints procedure. Usually one can find this information from the solicitor’s or conveyancer’s website or ask at their office. They must tell you about it if you ask.
The Legal Ombudsman will make sure that your complaint is addressed by the solicitor. It can also advise you how to complain.
If a licensed conveyancer does not have a complaints procedure or will not tell you about it, contact the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC), which will make sure that your complaint is properly dealt with by the conveyancer. Please see below for more information.
